Fun for puppies
Our first product was the hangers for Targets. But during that first run of hangers, our Weimaraner, Graycee, decided she wanted to play with one of the large pieces of scrap, and went bananas running around with this thing. It was like she had just found the best toy ever. So we gave a few to our friends, and the dog toy side of firehosetoys was born
How we Started
firehosetoys came to be in early 2017. We had an idea to make a product for our own use because no one offered something suitable for a very specific task. We needed a strong material that could hold AR500 steel practice targets, but was more resilient than metal chain, which is the most common target hanger in use today.
The Journey
5 years later, we've got a much larger presence via online platforms, have expanded our product line, purchased better (and safer for us) sewing machines, and have come to love the images people share with us of their dogs enjoying our dog toys
